Apollo’s Fire Family Concert – Rainbow Songs

On Saturday, February 29th, Market Square in Crocker Park hosted Apollo’s Fire for their free family concerted, ‘Rainbow Songs.’

The hour long performance featured music styles from all over the world. The orchestra showcased songs hailing from Africa, Spain, Italy, and Jerusalem. The audience learned all about the songs meanings and lyrics, and just how powerful music can be when shared.

At one point in the show, the group invited audience members to come on stage with them to dance along to a Blues inspired song. Th entire performance was very engaging and interactive. Not to mention, the musicians sounded amazing and filled the venue with beautiful sounds all afternoon.

After the performance ended, audience members were able to get up close and personal with the musicians and instruments in the “Instrument Petting Zoo.”

Following the show, all audience members were able to dine at Crocker Park for discounted rates. Bar Louie offered 15% off each meal, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt ran a buy one get one 50% and Brio offered 15% off each meal.
